Throughout the years, I was able to filter out the techniques that didn't work well and fine tune my skills with the better options. Today, I am doing the natural short look, but my passion for hair enhancement remains.
(Update: I am currently sporting the long hair again! I have our Salon 52 manager/stylist Shiela apply and maintain seamless extensions for me, a process described below)
With a simple consultation, I can determine which technique is best for an individual client's hair and offer the finest quality extensions and service. We use only the finest quality of hair, which can be acquired in just about any color or texture. Prices vary dramatically depending on the amount of hair required and the length of time necessary for the application.
Among the options we offer for hair extensions are:
Seamless: a technique which offers a flawless look - a flat and reusable base which is easy and safe to wear and maintain. It is attached with a special medical grade tape combined with a hair adhesive and holds for 2-4 months. This is a two-sided tape method, where the tape sits on a polyurethane base and once the adhesive is activated by heat, it is placed on the client's hair just below the scalp. $500 - $950
Glue-tipped extensions: This system is applied strand by strand using a flat-tipped heat tool that fuses the extension into the client's hair. The keratin formulated bond comes in a flat shape that can be cut into smaller pieces making it very difficult to see. $500 - $950
Micro-cylinder hair extensions: This gentle attachment method does not involve glues, heat, or chemicals. Tiny tubes (micro-cylinders) are used to attach the strands to your own hair with customized tools. Must be installed and removed by an expert. This is a strong and safe method that will not damage your own hair. The cylinders come in different sizes and colors to accommodate all hair types.

Clip-in extensions: The clip-in line is ideal for clients wishing to have long, luxurious hair just for a day or night. They can be attached and removed by a professional stylist or the client themselves (as shown below.) Once removed they can be stored for future use. Clip-in hair is thought to be the easiest of all systems to apply and remove. Clips come in all sizes and lengths used for both highlights and full heads. 100% Human hair can be washed, dried, curled, and straightened to suit your needs. $200 - $500
Hair pieces, wigs, and falls can be matched up and purchased with the help of a professional stylist at Salon 52. Prices depend on the product chosen by the client.
